1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through the Ekhaya Scents online store. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Ekhaya Scents is a South African fragrance business.

2. Products and descriptions

We aim to ensure that product descriptions, images, fragrance notes and prices are accurate. Colours and packaging may vary slightly from images. Fragrance preferences are subjective, and individual experiences may differ.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are displayed in South African rand (ZAR) unless stated otherwise. Prices and promotions may change without notice, but changes will not affect an order we have already accepted, except where correction is legally permitted. Orders are subject to successful payment confirmation.

4. Orders

Please check your order, delivery address, contact details and selected products before completing checkout. We may contact you to clarify order details or resolve payment issues. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate remedy, including a refund where required.

5. Delivery

Delivery options, fees and estimated delivery times will be shown during checkout where available. Delivery estimates are not guarantees and may be affected by courier delays, public holidays, weather or circumstances outside our control. Customers must provide accurate delivery details. Any additional delivery charges arising from incorrect details or a requested address change will be communicated where applicable.

6. Returns, refunds and defective products

Our Refund and Returns Policy explains how to request assistance with incorrect, damaged, defective or unwanted products. Nothing in these terms removes any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other applicable South African law.

7. Promotions and discounts

Promotional offers are subject to their stated conditions, validity periods and stock availability. Unless explicitly stated, promotions cannot be combined. Loyalty rewards and reseller offers are governed by their separate programme rules.

8. Intellectual property

The Ekhaya Scents name, branding, original product descriptions, images and other original store content may not be copied, republished or used commercially without permission, except where permitted by law.

9. Privacy

We use customer information to process orders, arrange delivery, provide customer support and perform other purposes explained in our Privacy Policy. Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers under their own applicable terms and privacy practices.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law. We are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances reasonably beyond our control, subject to your statutory rights.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version applicable to an order will be the version in effect when the order is placed, subject to applicable law.
